"Arktika is not a city in Ukraine, but a generic name for the Arctic region, literally meaning "Arctic zone". Although Ukraine is located in Eastern Europe and has no direct territory within the Arctic Circle, it is bordered by Belarus and Russia to the north and is close to the edge of the Arctic Circle. Ukraine is involved in Arctic affairs through scientific research, such as Arctic research and climate studies, but the main cities of the country are concentrated in the Dnieper River basin, such as Kiev and Kharkiv. If you are referring to other areas with similar names, further verification is recommended to ensure the accuracy of the information.
