Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
Nansha District is located in the southernmost part of Guangzhou City, at the geographical center of the Pearl River Delta, the geometric center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the only land and sea intersection with access to the river and the sea. As the core zone of China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone and a national new zone, Nansha shoulders the mission of creating an advanced zone for high-quality development, focusing on the development of artificial intelligence, biomedicine, shipping and logistics and other emerging industries, and sitting on open platforms such as Nansha Port and Nansha Bonded Port Zone, connecting with super projects such as Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor, forming a highly efficient three-dimensional transportation network of sea-land-air-railway. It also has ecological resources such as Nansha Wetland and Huangshanlu Forest Park, realizing the integrated development of "ecology+" and industry, and is an important strategic pivot point connecting the mainland with Hong Kong and Macao, and radiating globally.
