Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
Moli Dawa Daur Autonomous Banner (Mo Banner for short) is located in the southeastern part of Hulunbeier City in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, at the eastern foot of the Daxing'anling Mountains, and is the main settlement of the Daur ethnic group. Established in 1958, Mo Banner has Daur as its main ethnic group, integrating Han Chinese, Mongolians and other multi-ethnic groups living together. It is rich in natural resources, with vast forests, grasslands and fertile farmland, and the climate is temperate continental monsoon climate with four distinct seasons.
Moqi is famous for its Daur culture, with traditional festivals such as the "Goodbaugh Festival" and "Hockey" being included in the national intangible cultural heritage. The economy is based on agriculture, animal husbandry and tourism, with crops such as soybeans and corn in abundance, and the development of ecotourism and ethnic culture experience programs. Conveniently connected to neighboring cities by road and rail, it is an important gateway for exploring the human and natural landscapes of northeastern Inner Mongolia.
