Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
Mbabane is the capital and largest city of Swaziland (now known as Eswatini), a landlocked country in southeastern Africa, located in the western foothills of the Mdimba Mountains at an altitude of about 1,200 meters. As the political, economic and cultural center of the country, Mbabane is known for its mild climate and green mountain scenery.
The city has a concentration of government agencies, foreign embassies and major commercial facilities, and boasts educational institutions such as the University of Eswatini. The economy is dominated by the sugar processing, textile and timber industries, and the surrounding area is rich in citrus, cotton and other agricultural products. The annual Reed Dance Festival is an important traditional cultural event in Swaziland.
Mbabane is connected by road to South Africa and Mozambique, and the city is served by Manzini International Airport. A mix of traditional villages and modern architecture can be seen around the city, and the nearby Mlivana Game Reserve and Malolosa Nature Reserve are popular destinations for eco-tourism.
As the administrative hub of Eswatini, Mbabane is gradually being modernized, while retaining a strong Swazi heritage and culture, making it an important window on the country's history and contemporary development.
