Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
Located in the southwestern part of Sichuan Province, the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan is the largest Yi settlement in China, and is known as the "Hometown of the Yi People in China". The terrain is predominantly mountainous, with the Jinsha River and Yalong River passing through the area, giving rise to magnificent natural landscapes, such as the crystal clear and mysterious Lugu Lake and the majestic and precipitous mountains of Lubun Mountain. Liangshan is the core area of Yi culture, with unique traditional festivals such as the Torch Festival and the Year of the Yi, as well as Yi embroidery, lacquer ware and other handicrafts inherited for thousands of years. At the same time, it is also the "hometown of aerospace", where Xichang Satellite Launch Center is located. In recent years, Liangshan's tourism industry has flourished on the basis of ethnic culture and ecological resources, attracting tourists from all over the world to explore its unique ethnic charm and natural beauty.
