Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. Located in the northeastern part of the city of Chamdo in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China, Tuoqi is an important county in the eastern Tibetan plateau, with an average altitude of about 3,800 meters. It is famous for its magnificent natural scenery and rich Tibetan Buddhist culture, and boasts historic temples such as the Tuozi Monastery. With a cool climate, summer is the peak tourist season, attracting visitors to explore the plateau grasslands and unique folklore.
Located in the upper reaches of the Lancang River, Class Wuqi has a pristine ecological environment and is a wildlife habitat. Local residents are mainly Tibetans, who retain their traditional lifestyle and festivals, such as horse races. The economy is based on agriculture and animal husbandry. In recent years, eco-tourism has gradually developed, making it an ideal destination to experience the pure nature of Tibet.
