Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
Located in the central part of China's Hubei Province, Jingmen is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Hubei Province, situated in the transition zone between the Jianghan Plain and the mountainous region of West Hubei. As an important node of the city cluster in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, Jingmen has a long history and is one of the birthplaces of the Chu culture, with a history of more than 2,700 years since the founding of the city.
Jingmen's economy is dominated by industry, covering chemical, equipment manufacturing, new energy and other industries, while the city is rich in agricultural resources and is an important commercial grain and oilseed rape production base in China. The city's transportation is convenient, with trunk lines such as the Hurong Expressway and the Jiao Liu Railway running through the whole territory.
In terms of tourism resources, Jingmen boasts well-known attractions such as the Obvious Mausoleum (a world cultural heritage site), the Zhanghe River Scenic Area, and the Green Forest Mountain, blending humanistic and natural landscape features. The city focuses on ecological construction and was once awarded the title of National Garden City, reflecting a balance between livability and sustainable development.
