Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
Hongshan District, located in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, is one of the central urban areas of Wuhan, situated on the south bank of the Yangtze River and in the core area of the East Lake Hi-Tech Development Zone. As an important scientific, educational and cultural center of Wuhan, Hongshan District is home to many colleges and research institutions, including Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China University of Geosciences, and other well-known institutions. The regional economy is dominated by high-tech industries, education and modern services, with the Optics Valley Plaza and Jiejiekou business district as important commercial hubs. Hongshan District has convenient transportation, with Metro Line 2 and a number of major roads running through the district, connecting the three towns of Wuhan. In addition, it is rich in natural landscapes, and the East Lake Scenic Area is partially located in the district, providing a good place for leisure and tourism. Hongshan District blends modern urban development with historical and cultural heritage, making it one of the most dynamic areas in Wuhan.
