Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
Located in the southwest of China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Dongsheng District is the main urban area of Ordos City, situated in the hinterland of the Ordos Plateau, with a typical temperate continental climate and an average annual temperature of about 6℃. As an important part of Hubao-Erdos City Cluster, Dongsheng is famous for its rich coal, natural gas and other energy resources, and is an important energy and chemical base of the country. In recent years, Dongsheng has been actively promoting the transformation of industries, and new energy, modern service industries and other emerging industries are booming.
The area is a blend of traditional Mongolian culture and modern urban style, with historical and cultural symbols such as the Genghis Khan Mausoleum, as well as a modernized city skyline and commercial facilities. Relying on convenient transportation network, Dongsheng is becoming an important hub connecting North China and Northwest China. The unique grassland flavor and industrial civilization are intertwined, showing a unique urban charm.
