Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
Located on the east coast of the Isle of Man, England, Derby Harbour is the only city and administrative center on the island. As the capital of the Isle of Man, Derby Harbour is not only a political, economic and cultural hub, but is also known for its Victorian architecture and rich history.
Situated in the middle of the Irish Sea, Derby has a natural deep water harbor and has been an important trading post since the Middle Ages. Named after the 17th century Earl of Derby, the city dates back to the Viking era and the old town still retains its ancient street layout.
As an international offshore financial center, the Port of Derby is home to a large number of financial firms and is known worldwide for its annual TT motorcycle race. City landmarks include the Romanesque St. Mary's Church, Victoria Dock and the Isle of Man Museum, which showcases Celtic artifacts.
Visitors can arrive by ferry from the UK or Ireland, and Derby Harbor's steam railway station still operates the century-old narrow-gauge railroad. The city is surrounded by coastal walks and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, combining urban convenience with natural beauty.
