Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
Located in the western part of Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, China, Daojiao Town is an important water town in the Pearl River Delta, adjacent to a tributary of the Pearl River, with an area of about 63 square kilometers. The town has a long history, founded in the Song Dynasty, and is famous for its traditional Lingnan water town culture and dragon boat races, as well as the titles of "Hometown of Chinese Opera" and "Hometown of Chinese Folk Culture and Art".
Economically, Daojiao is dominated by manufacturing, food processing and modern agriculture, with well-known companies such as Hsu Fu Chi setting up factories here. At the same time, the town is actively developing eco-tourism, with attractions such as Yuehui Garden, Daojiao Bridge and the annual Dragon Boat Festival attracting many tourists. Conveniently located near the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway and downtown Dongguan, the town blends traditional and modern features.
