Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
Dalat Banner is located in the north of Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, on the south bank of the Yellow River, in the core area of Hubao-Eqiu urban agglomeration. With a total area of about 8,200 square kilometers and a population of about 360,000, it is a multi-ethnic settlement area with Mongolian as the main ethnic group and Han Chinese as the majority. It has a long history and is the meeting place of grassland culture and Yellow River civilization. It has famous scenic spots such as Ringing Sand Bay and Zhaojun City, attracting tourists with unique desert landscape and folk customs. The economy is based on energy, chemical industry and modern agriculture, and it is an important coal production base and new energy demonstration area in China. Dalate Banner has convenient transportation, only 60 kilometers from Baotou Airport, and G6 Beijing-Tibet Expressway runs through the whole territory, which is an important transportation hub and dynamic area for economic development in Inner Mongolia.
