Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
Bazhou City is located in the central part of Hebei Province, China, under Langfang City, in the core area of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei metropolitan area. It has a total area of about 784 square kilometers and a population of about 600,000 people. The city is known for its industrial and economic development zones, focusing on metal products, machinery manufacturing and modern services, making it an important manufacturing base in North China.
Bazhou is conveniently located close to Beijing and Tianjin, with a number of major transportation routes including the Beijing-Kowloon Railway and the Jinbao High Speed Railway. Historically and culturally, Bazhou is home to monuments from the Song and Liao Dynasties and traditional folk arts, such as the Shengfang Ancient Town and concerts. In recent years, the city has been actively promoting urbanization and ecological construction to enhance the quality of life of its residents, while relying on its location to promote regional economic integration.
