Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
Located in the northeastern part of Tainan City, Taiwan Province of China, Baihe is famous for its lotus flowers. The region is known for its abundance of lotus flowers, and the Baihe Lotus Festival is held every summer, attracting a large number of tourists who come to enjoy the spectacle of thousands of acres of lotus fields. Local specialties include lotus meal, lotus root tea, and other delicacies derived from agricultural products.
Located in the border zone between the plains and foothills of the Jia Nan, Baihe boasts the Guan Zi Ling Hot Spring Scenic Area, whose mud hot springs are a rare geological landscape in Taiwan. The main agricultural products include rice, citrus and other crops in addition to lotus flowers, featuring both agricultural and tourism industries.
Transportation can be arranged by transferring to a shuttle bus from the Taiwan Railway Houbi Station, and National Highway No. 3 passes through the area. It is recommended to visit the area during the lotus blossom season from May to August, and it can be combined with the Dongshan Mountain Coffee Highway to form an in-depth tourism line.
