Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
Located in the southern part of Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture in Jilin Province, Antu County is located in the hinterland of Changbaishan Mountain, which is the ecological barrier and important gateway to the northern foot of Changbaishan Mountain. With the core scenic spots of Changbaishan Mountain, the county is famous for its natural landscape such as Tianchi, waterfalls and hot springs, and is known as "the first county of Changbaishan Mountain". With a high forest coverage of 86%, Anto has an excellent ecological environment and is an important part of the Northeast Tiger and Leopard National Park, which is rich in wildlife resources. At the same time, it is a place where diverse cultures, such as Korean and Manchu, are integrated, with rich folk customs and unique non-heritage cultures, such as the long encouragement and the Nongle Dance. Relying on ecological and cultural resources, Anto has developed eco-tourism, green agriculture, recreation and vacation industries, and specialty products such as ginseng, blueberries, and fungus are famous both at home and abroad, making it an attractive city combining natural scenery, ethnic culture, and ecological livability.
