As a country in Central Europe, Poland is home to a number of cities that combine history and modernity. Warsaw, the capital, is the political and economic center of the country, with its post-World War II reconstruction and modern skyscrapers, and the Wisła River running through the city, giving it a unique charm. Kraków is a cultural capital, with its medieval Old Town listed as a World Heritage Site, Wawel Castle and Jagiellonian University bearing witness to Poland's glorious history, and a hotbed of art and music. The northern port city of Gdańsk is known as the birthplace of the Solidarity trade union movement, with its Gothic red-brick churches and Baltic Sea views. In addition, Wrocław's Centennial Hall and Poznań's Gothic Cathedral each have their own distinctive character, together outlining Poland's diverse urban landscape.
Located in the western part of Taiwan, Changhua is one of the most important historical and cultural cities in Taiwan. Founded in 1723, Changhua County, known as "Half Line" in ancient times, is rich in cultural heritage and traditional architecture. The famous Lugang Ancient Town has preserved a large number of temples and streets from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, such as Longshan Temple and Tianhou Palace, which attract many tourists. Changhua is also a major agricultural town in Taiwan, famous for growing rice, fruits and flowers. In addition, local snacks such as meatballs, oyster omelettes and Changhua controlled meat rice are popular. Conveniently located and easily accessible by high-speed rail, Taiwan Railway or highway, it is suitable for cultural exploration and culinary tours.
