Located in the northern part of Guangdong Province, China, Liyuan Yao Autonomous County is part of Shaoguan City, and is one of the three minority autonomous counties in Guangdong Province. Located at the southern foot of the Nanling Mountain Range, it covers a total area of 2,299 square kilometers, with mountainous and hilly terrain, and more than 80% of the area is covered by forests, which makes it blessed with unique ecological resources.
Liyuan is inhabited by the Yao people, preserving the complete Yao culture and traditional customs, and organizing ethnic festivals such as the "October Dynasty" every year. Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, Leguang Expressway runs through the whole territory, about 40 minutes drive from Shaoguan high-speed rail station, the transportation is convenient. In recent years, the development of green economy, was awarded the title of "National Ecological Civilization Construction Demonstration County".
Located in the western part of Guangdong Province, Luoding is a county-level city under the administration of Yunfu City, known as the "Gateway to Western Guangdong" and the "Breadbasket of Lingnan", situated at the crossroads of Guangfu and Bagui cultures, with a long history of more than 1,400 years since it was established in the Southern Dynasty, and is one of the "Ancient Cultural Counties of Guangdong".
