Located in the northwestern part of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan Province of China, Lujhu District is one of the important satellite cities of Kaohsiung Metropolitan Area. The area covers a total area of about 48.4348 square kilometers and has a population of about 53,000, with a predominance of residents of Minnan descent. Lujhu has preserved a number of century-old temples, such as the Tianhou Palace and the Baoan Palace, and the cultural festivals held every year show strong local characteristics. Famous local delicacies include duck soup and traditional rice cakes. The neighboring Jhuhu Salt Flat Ruins and Yongan Wetland Ecological Zone add natural tourism resources to the area, presenting a unique urban and rural landscape that blends tradition and modernity.
