Lushan is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Weihai City in Shandong Province, located in the southeastern part of Shandong Peninsula, east of the Yellow Sea, and named after the large Lushan Mountain in its territory. It is a famous hometown of longevity, coastal tourist attraction and oyster production area in China.
Lushan has 182 kilometers of coastline, Silver Beach Tourist Resort is famous for its gentle slope and flat beach, fine sand, and is known as "the first beach in the world". Dashan Coastal Tourism Resort integrates mountain and sea landscape with health culture, and is a national 4A-level scenic spot. Local oysters are produced in abundance in the area, with the annual output ranking the first in the country, and the Oyster Culture Festival is held every year.
With a beautiful environment and excellent air quality, the proportion of centenarians reaches the standard of the United Nations Longevity Township. The economy is mainly based on marine industry, tourism and modern agriculture, and there are provincial economic development zones and Binhai New Area. Qingwei Expressway and Qingrong Intercity Railway run through the whole territory, with convenient transportation, and it is an important marine economic demonstration area in Jiaodong Peninsula.
Located in the western part of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province, China, Yangbi Yi Autonomous County is situated at the junction of the Hengduan Mountains and the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, and is famous for its abundant production of high-quality walnuts, which is regarded as the "Hometown of Walnuts in China". The county is about 30 kilometers away from Dali City, sitting on the west side of Cangshan Erhai National Nature Reserve, with an average altitude of about 1600 meters, subtropical plateau monsoon climate, mild and pleasant in all seasons.
The ethnic cultures here are diversified, with the Yi, Bai and other minorities accounting for more than half of the total population, and traditional festivals such as the Torch Festival and the Year of the Yi have been preserved intact. There are natural and humanistic landscapes such as Shimen Pass, Cangshan Rock Painting, etc. The Yunnan-Burma Highway passes through the territory, which is an important node of the Tea and Horse Road. Yangbi walnut planting history of more than a thousand years, annual output of more than 10,000 tons of walnuts, the relevant industry chain is perfect, in recent years, combined with the development of eco-tourism characteristics of the rural economy.
After the 6.4 magnitude earthquake in Yangbi in 2021, the local government has accelerated the revitalization of the countryside and infrastructure reconstruction, and now it has become a destination for both ecological agriculture and ethnic culture tourism around Dali.
