Rudky is a small city in the Lviv Oblast of western Ukraine, located about 30 kilometers southwest of the capital city of Lviv, in the basin of a tributary of the San River, in the transition zone of the western part of the Eastern European Plain. With a population of about 52,000 (2023 estimate), the city is a center of economic services for the surrounding agricultural region, with light industry and machine building as its main industries, as well as factories for textile, wood processing and agro-processing. In terms of transportation, Rudecki is located on the main Lviv-Sandomierz road and is connected by rail to Lviv's border with Poland, and has historically been an important trade transit point. The city retains some of its late 19th century Eastern European architecture, and the surrounding natural landscape is dominated by farmland and forests, combining the tranquility of an agricultural town with industrial functions, making it a typical regional urban node in western Ukraine.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
