Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
Zhuhai is located in the south of China's Guangdong Province, on the west bank of the Pearl River Estuary, and is one of the earliest special economic zones established in China. As an important node city in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Zhuhai is blessed with a unique geographical location, with Hong Kong to the east and Macao to the south.
Zhuhai is known as the "City of Hundreds of Islands", with 147 islands of various sizes and a coastline of 604 kilometers. The green coverage rate of the city is over 50%, and it has been honored as "National Garden City" and "China's Happiest City". Economically, Zhuhai focuses on the development of high-end manufacturing, high-tech industries and modern services, and the Hengqin New Area is a demonstration area for deep cooperation between Guangdong and Macao.
Landmarks such as Zhuhai's Changlong Ocean Kingdom, Lovers Road and Riyuebe Opera House are popular. The annual China International Aviation and Aerospace Expo (CIAAE) highlights Zhuhai's status as an "aerospace city". Zhuhai also retains historical and cultural relics such as the Tangjiawan Ancient Town, which blends Lingnan and marine cultural characteristics.
Zhuhai's air quality is always among the highest in China, and it forms a 1-hour living circle with Hong Kong and Macau through the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. The Guangzhou-Zhuhai Intercity Railway and Zhuhai Jinwan Airport have built up a three-dimensional transportation system, making Zhuhai a modern seaside city that is pleasant to work and live in.
