Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
Located in the Yuwantai District of Kaifeng City, Henan Province, China, Yuwantai is one of the important historical and cultural landmarks in Kaifeng City. Originally known as the Ancient Blowing Platform, it is said to be the place where musician Shi Kuang played music during the Spring and Autumn Period, and was later renamed Yuwangtai to commemorate the achievements of Dayu in ruling the water. The scenic spot contains ancient buildings such as Yuwang Temple and Sanxian Ancestral Shrine, combining garden landscape and humanistic relics, and is a famous tourist attraction in the Central Plains.
Yuwangtai is located in the southeastern part of Kaifeng City, with convenient transportation, which can be reached by high-speed railways, highways and other means. The surrounding area is adjacent to famous attractions such as Kaifeng Mansion and Qingming Shangheyuan, forming a rich cultural tourism route.
As a cultural relics protection unit of Henan Province, Yuwangtai carries the culture of Xia Yu, ancient music culture and human history since Song and Yuan. The annual Yuwangtai Temple Festival held on the third day of the third month of the lunar calendar is an important showcase for local traditional folk activities.
The scenic spot is characterized by a classical garden layout, with ancient cypresses and monuments standing in the garden, combining historical education and leisure tour functions. It is recommended to visit for 1-2 hours, suitable for all seasons, with the best climate in spring and fall.
