Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Yueqing is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, located on the southeast coast of Zhejiang, with Yueqing Bay to the east and Wenzhou downtown to the south. As one of the top 100 counties and cities in China, Yueqing has a well-developed economy, led by electrical manufacturing, electronic components, machinery and equipment industries, with well-known enterprises such as Astronergy and Dexerity, and is known as the "Electrical Capital of China".
Yueqing is rich in natural resources, with the national 5A-level tourist attraction Yandang Mountain, famous for its strange peaks, waterfalls and ancient temples. In addition, Yueqing retains a rich cultural heritage, such as the Baixiang Pagoda from the Southern Song Dynasty and numerous ancient villages. The city is conveniently connected to Wenzhou, Ningbo and other cities through highways and railroads.
The population of Yueqing is about 1.4 million, and the dialect is Yueqing dialect, which belongs to the Wu language Wen-Tai piece.
