Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
Yangquan, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Shanxi Province, is located on the west side of the middle section of the Taihang Mountains, and is an important transportation hub connecting Jin and Hebei provinces, known as the "Gateway to Sanjin". As one of the first provincial municipalities established after the founding of New China, Yangquan was once an important coal and chemical base in North China, known as the "hometown of coal and iron", and in recent years, it has been actively promoting industrial transformation and the development of new energy, new materials and other emerging industries. The territory is rich in natural and human resources, Niangziguan is located in Taihang, which has been a place of war since ancient times, Zangshan Scenic Area is famous for the story of "Zhao's Orphan", and the ruins of the Hundred Regiments Battle in Shizimen Mountain carries red memories. This city, with both industrial heritage and the charm of landscape, is being revitalized.
