Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
Uttarakhand Banner is located in the southwestern part of Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, in the hinterland of Mao Wusu Sandy Land, which is one of the important birthplaces of Mongolian culture. The total area of the flag is about 11,600 square kilometers, with a population of about 130,000, with Mongolians as the main group and Han Chinese as the majority. The economy is dominated by animal husbandry and energy industry, rich in natural gas and coal resources, and is the core area of the energy base in the Ordos Basin.
Uttarakhand has a unique natural landscape with desert, grassland and wetland ecosystems, and the Sarawusu site is a famous archaeological site of ancient human activities. The area retains strong Mongolian traditions, such as the Naadam Assembly, Mongolian long tunes and hand-held meat and other folk cultures. Conveniently connected to neighboring cities via the G18 Rongwu Expressway and the Baosi Railway, tourism and green energy projects are gradually driving sustainable development in the region.
