Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Tianjun County is located in the northeastern part of Haixi Mongol and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, China, at the southern foothills of Qilian Mountains, with an average altitude of more than 4,000 meters, making it a typical plateau pastoral county. The county covers a total area of 25,700 square kilometers, with magnificent alpine meadows, glacier landscape and rich plateau animal and plant resources. As an important water supply of Qinghai Lake, Buha River runs through the whole territory, and the ecological environment is primitive and pure.
Tianjun is a multi-ethnic settlement area with Tibetans as the main body, preserving the unique nomadic culture and Tibetan Buddhist tradition. The annual summer Naadam Conference focuses on horse racing, archery and other ethnic activities. Tianjun County takes animal husbandry as its leading industry, producing yaks, Tibetan sheep and other livestock products.
