Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
Located in the south of Hunan Province, Suxian District is part of Chenzhou City, a cultural town at the junction of Hunan and Guangdong, named after the Suxian Ridge and the "Legend of Suxian". According to legend, Su Xian became immortal in the Western Han Dynasty, and Su Xian Ling still retains the remains of White Deer Cave, Ascending Immortal Stone and Su Xian Guan, which are regarded as "the 18th blessed place in the world", and is an important carrier of Taoist culture. Located at the northern foot of the Nanling Mountain Range, the area is surrounded by natural landscapes such as Dongjiang Lake and Mangshan Mountain, combining the beauty of the landscape with the charm of humanity. As the core of Chenzhou's main urban area, Susian District combines a thousand years of historical heritage with modern urban vitality, and is the core area for commerce, culture and tourism development in southern Hunan, as well as an important node connecting Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao to the Greater Bay Area.
