Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
Ruoergai County belongs to Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province of China, located at the junction of Sichuan, Gan and Qing provinces, with an average altitude of 3,500 meters, is a multicultural settlement mainly of Tibetans.
Ruoergai has China's largest highland peat swamp wetland - Ruoergai Wetland National Nature Reserve, known as the "Kidney of the Earth". The magnificent scenery of the First Bay of the Nine Curves of the Yellow River is located here, and the scenic spots such as Flower Lake and Geer Prairie have different sceneries in all seasons, and are the habitats of rare animals such as black-necked cranes.
The local area retains a strong Ando Tibetan flavor, Tibetan Buddhist temples, ghee tea culture, horse racing festival and other traditional activities are abundant. Red tourist attractions such as the ruins of the Brazilian Conference record the history of the Red Army's Long March.
Ruoergai is an important node of the North Western Sichuan Great Loop, with a sea of flowers in summer and a vast snowfield in winter, suitable for eco-tourism, photographic creation and cultural experience, and the best travel time is from May to October.
