Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
Qiaocheng is located in the northwestern part of China's Anhui Province, and is the political, economic and cultural center of Bozhou City, which is situated at the southern end of the North China Plain and has a warm-temperate semi-humid climate. As a national historical and cultural city, Qiao Cheng has a history of more than 3,700 years and is one of the birthplaces of Chinese medicine culture, liquor culture and Taoist thought.
Qiao Cheng is known as the "Capital of Chinese Medicine" and has the largest Chinese herbal medicine market in China, with annual production of Chinese herbal medicine accounting for 20% of the national total. The local specialty Gujing Tribute Wine is one of the eight most famous wines in China, and the relics of the Three Kingdoms, such as Cao Cao's military road, have been listed as national key cultural relics protection units.In 2023, Qiaocheng District's GDP will exceed 50 billion yuan, and it will have formed an industrial system centered on traditional Chinese medicine, liquor, and agricultural products processing.
The transportation network covers the main lines such as Shanghehang High Speed Railway and Jiguang Expressway, and is about 2 hours' drive from Hefei Xinqiao International Airport. The green coverage rate of the urban area is 38.5%, and the Eddy River passes through the city to form an ecological corridor, which has been evaluated as a national ecological civilization construction demonstration area in recent years.
