Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. Ningling County is located in the eastern part of Henan Province of China, belonging to Shangqiu City, and is situated at the junction of four provinces of Henan, Lu, Suzhou and Anhui, with a total area of about 798 square kilometers. The county has a long history and is one of the important birthplaces of Chinese civilization. It belonged to the state of Song during the Spring and Autumn Period, and Ningling County was set up in the Han Dynasty, with a history of more than 2,000 years of establishment so far.
