Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
Linhai, a county-level city in Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, is located in the central coast of Zhejiang Province, on the south coast of Taizhou Bay, east of the East China Sea, west of Cangshan Mountain, known as "the ancient capital of the landscape, the southeast of the county" reputation. This ancient city in the south of the Yangtze River with a history of more than 2,000 years is one of the cultural birthplaces of Taizhou, and the existing Linhai Ancient Great Wall (Jiangnan Great Wall) was built in the Jin and Tang dynasties, with a total length of more than 6,000 meters, meandering at the top of the green mountains, and the Badaling Great Wall in Beijing, known as the "Sisters of the Great Wall". Ziyang Street in the city still has a thousand years of ancient charm, retaining the pattern of streets and lanes and the style of merchants since the Tang and Song dynasties, and is known as the "First Street of Taizhou". Linhai is not only rich in humanities, but also has the advantage of mountains and the sea: the beaches in the east have nurtured specialties such as Linhai honey orange and Yongquan honey pomelo, while the Bracang Mountain in the west is a famous mountain in Southeast Zhejiang Province, where you can climb up to the top to watch the sunrise over the sea of clouds. Nowadays, this ancient city is blending historical heritage with modern vigor, becoming a tourist destination in the Yangtze River Delta region with both cultural charm and ecological value.
