Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
Keshketeng Banner is located in the northwestern part of Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, situated in the intersection of the Daxinganling Mountains and the Yanshan Mountains, which is one of the important birthplaces of Mongolian culture. With a total area of 20,673 square kilometers, the flag is blessed with a variety of natural landscapes including grasslands, deserts, lakes and forests. Famous scenic spots include the World Geopark Asghatu Stone Forest, Dalinuoer Lake National Nature Reserve, and Ulaanbaotong Grassland, which is known as the "miniature of Inner Mongolia".
Keshketeng Banner is home to more than 30% of the Mongolian population, and has preserved traditional folk cultures such as the Naadam Convention and yurt dwelling. As the birthplace of the Xilamurun River and the Luan River, Keshketeng Banner has an excellent ecological environment and a number of cultural tourism destinations, including the Ulaanbaotun Film and Television Base, which was selected as one of the first batch of national demonstration zones for regional tourism in 2019, and is an important ecological barrier and tourism destination in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
With an average elevation of about 1,100 meters above sea level, Keshketeng Banner has a mid-temperate continental monsoon climate with an average annual temperature of 3℃. The unique geographic location makes it an important ecological functional area in northern China, with four national nature reserves and a vegetation coverage rate of more than 65%, making it an important sample area for studying ecological changes in northern China.
