Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
JIANCHANG County, belonging to Huludao City of Liaoning Province, is located in the western part of Liaoning, at the northern end of the LiaoXi Corridor, adjacent to Hebei Province, and is an important node connecting Northeast and North China. It has a long history and has been a major town in western Liaoning since ancient times. It belonged to the state of Yan during the Warring States period, and was set up as a county from the Northern Wei Dynasty onwards, and was a military stronghold during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, leaving historical imprints such as the ancient city of the Warring States period, and the ruins of the Han and Tang dynasties. Rich in natural resources, with molybdenum, iron, gold and other minerals, as well as the Daqingshan Mountain, Longtan Grand Canyon and other natural landscapes, known as the "oasis of western Liaoning". Cultural heritage, Jianchang stilts, Jianchang drums and music and other non-heritage projects are unique, rich in folk customs. Agriculture is famous for millet, peanuts, walnuts and other specialty crops. In recent years, eco-tourism and green agriculture have developed synergistically, becoming an emerging destination in western Liaoning with both historical flavor and ecological vitality.
