Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Istaravshan is a historic city in the Soghd province of northern Tajikistan, located about 200 kilometers north of the capital city of Dushanbe. The city has a long history of more than 2,500 years and was once an important trade and cultural hub on the ancient Silk Road. Its name means "place of pleasure", reflecting the pleasant natural environment of the region.
