Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. Located in the eastern part of Shaanxi Province, Hancheng is a county-level city under the administration of Weinan City. Located on the west bank of the Yellow River, Hancheng has a long history and deep cultural heritage. As the hometown of Sima Qian, Hancheng is known as the "Town of Literature and History", and boasts the World Cultural Heritage "Dangjiacun Ancient Architectural Complex" and the national cultural relics protection unit "Hancheng Ancient City". The city's economy is based on the coal industry, but it also develops tourism and agriculture, and is famous for its specialty products such as peppers and apples. Hancheng is conveniently connected to Shaanxi and Shanxi, and is an important node city in the Yellow River Golden Triangle.
