Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
Fenyi County is part of Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province, China, and is located in the western part of Ganxi, in the middle reaches of the Yuan River. The county has a long history and was founded in 984, the first year of Yongxi in the Northern Song Dynasty, and was named "Fenyi" because it is located between Yichun and the Watershed Ridge. It is famous for its rich mineral resources, especially vanadium and coal, and is one of the most important energy bases in China.
The economy of Fengyi is dominated by industry, including metallurgy, energy and manufacturing, while agriculture is dominated by rice, oil tea and fruit and vegetable cultivation. The local culture is profound, with historical relics such as Yan Song's hometown and Changshan Temple, and is known as the "Hometown of Chinese Summer Cloth", with the traditional summer cloth weaving technique listed as a national intangible cultural heritage.
Fenyi has a beautiful natural environment, with attractions such as Dagang Mountain and Zhongshan Gorge, and the Yuan River flows through the county, making it an outstanding potential for eco-tourism. The transportation is convenient, with the Hukun Expressway and Zhegan Railway running through the whole area, and about 20 kilometers away from Xinyu City, which makes it easy to connect with the region.
