Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
Fangchenggang is located in the southern coast of Guangxi, is China's only border city connected with ASEAN by land and sea, known as the "Southwest Gateway, Pearl of the Borderland". As a national first-class port city, it has the most southwestern deep-water port on the coastline of mainland China, and is an important node of the new land and sea corridor in the west, as well as the front line of China - ASEAN Free Trade Area. It is embraced by mountains and sea, and on the long coastline, the delicate sandy beach of Golden Beach, the Jing ethnic flavor of Wanwei Island and the ecological secret of Shimanta Mountain National Park are reflected. Meanwhile, Dongxing Port, as the largest land port between China and Vietnam, has a thriving border market and cross-border trade, and is a hub for logistics, commerce and tourism connecting China and ASEAN, attracting tourists and investors to explore the charm of the border and sea.
