Rongshui Miao Autonomous County is located in the northern part of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China, belonging to Liuzhou City, and is the only Miao autonomous county in Guangxi. It is located in the southern extension of the Miaoling Mountain Range of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and is mainly mountainous and hilly, with a forest coverage rate of more than 79%, and a superior ecological environment, known as the "Kingdom of Cedar" and the "Natural Oxygen Bar".
Rongshui is characterized by the Miao culture, with rich intangible cultural heritages, such as Lusheng Dance, Miao embroidery and Pohui festivals. Major attractions include Yuanbaoshan National Forest Park, Laojun Cave and Beijiang Scenic Area, which attract a large number of tourists to experience folk customs and natural landscapes. The economy is dominated by agriculture, forestry and tourism, and is famous for specialties such as Xiangnuo and bamboo shoots.
In terms of transportation, Rongshui is connected to neighboring cities through the Jiao Liu Railway and Sanbei Expressway, and is about 100 kilometers away from Liuzhou. As an eco-tourism destination in ethnic areas, its unique cultural resources and green development model have attracted much attention.
