Located on the Atlantic coast of northwestern Liberia, Robertsport is an important port city and fishing center in the country, about 120 kilometers from the capital city of Monrovia. Founded in the mid-19th century by the American Colonization Society and named after Liberia's first president, Joseph Jenkins Roberts, the city retains colonial architecture, such as the old stone church and wharf. The economy is based on fishing and trade, and the surrounding waters are rich in tuna and shrimp, which are the main livelihood of the local population. In addition, Robertsport is known for its excellent beaches and surfing conditions, which attracts a small number of international tourists, and the surrounding Prome Point National Park, which preserves rainforests and habitats for endangered species, offers both historical and natural attractions.
Aleppo, a historic city in northern Syria, is located in Aleppo province near the Turkish border and was once an important trading hub on the ancient Silk Road. This ancient city of more than 8,000 years incorporates the imprints of Arab, Persian, and Roman civilizations, and its magnificent citadel, ancient mosques, and traditional bazaars (such as the Great Market of Aleppo) showcase a rich cultural heritage. As one of the largest cities in Syria, Erek has long been a regional economic and cultural center throughout its history, and despite the damage caused by the conflict in recent years, its unique architectural and human heritage continues to attract the world's attention, and it is now gradually moving towards recovery and reconstruction.
