Ritu County, belonging to Tibet's Ali region, is located in the western part of Tibet, bordering with India, and is one of the important border counties in Tibet. Here the average altitude of 4500 meters above sea level, has a magnificent plateau scenery, Banguang Lake (Banguang wrong) across the county, the lake is clear blue, many islands in the lake, is a paradise for migratory birds, is also a famous tourist attractions. Ritu has a long history, is one of the important birthplaces of the Xiangxiong culture, the territory preserves a large number of precious petroglyphs relics, such as Renmudong petroglyphs, more than 3,000 years ago, a vivid record of the ancient nomadic life scenes.
