Located in the core area of Jining City, Shandong Province, China, Rencheng District is the political, economic and cultural center of Jining City. As an important transportation hub in southwestern Shandong Province, the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal passes through the city, which has been a major transportation town since ancient times.
