Located in south-central Montana, USA, Red Lodge is the county seat of Carbon County and is nestled at the foot of the Beartooth Mountains, approximately 110 kilometers from the northeast entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The city is known for its rich western history, outdoor recreational opportunities, and picturesque setting. Originally emerging as a coal mining town in the late 1800s, Red Lodge has transformed into a tourist destination offering hiking, skiing, fishing and mountain biking. The famous Beartooth Highway begins here, and this scenic road is known as one of the most spectacular driving routes in the country.
