Raisut is a major port city in northern Oman, strategically located along the Gulf of Oman near the Strait of Hormuz, and is one of Oman's main maritime gateways. With Sultan Qaboos Port at its core, the city is one of Oman's largest commercial ports and is responsible for the import and export of large quantities of oil, liquefied natural gas, and goods, which are vital to Oman's foreign trade and economic development. Reisut is not only industrially advanced, but also has a long maritime history, with traditional shipbuilding and fishing still being important industries in the region. In addition, the combination of desert landscapes and coastal scenery around the city attracts some tourists, making it an economically vibrant and culturally attractive city in northern Oman.
Waileka is a quiet coastal town located in the south-east of Viti Levu, Fiji's largest island and part of the Lau Province. It has a typical tropical maritime climate with an average annual temperature of about 28°C. Surrounded by dense rainforests and coral reefs, it is an ideal place to experience Fiji's pristine nature. The town has a population of around 2,000 and its economy is based on traditional agriculture and fishing, with locals growing crops such as coconuts and taro, while developing small-scale eco-tourism based on the clear waters. Vaileca retains a strong traditional Fijian culture, with regular traditional song and dance performances and tribal ceremonies, where visitors can experience the friendly 'Bula' spirit and enjoy a slower pace of life away from the hustle and bustle.
