Radža is a quiet town in western North Macedonia, nestled in the southern foothills of the Šar Mountains, about 120 kilometers from the capital, Skopje. The town is known for its well-preserved Ottoman-era architecture and traditional Balkan flavor, with the old town's stone paths, wooden houses and quaint mosques speaking of its long history. Surrounded by dense forests and crystal clear mountain springs, it is an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism, especially in summer. The local people still practice handicrafts and traditional folklore, and the annual "Raja Cultural Festival" attracts many visitors to experience the authentic rural life of Northern Macedonia.
Sigchos is located in the central Ecuadorian province of Cotopaxi, in the hinterland of the Andes, at an altitude of about 2,800 meters above sea level, a typical highland mountainous area. It is known for its magnificent natural scenery and original culture, surrounded by rolling meadows, steep valleys and the distant snow-capped peaks of the Cotopaxi volcano. The local economy is based on traditional agriculture, growing alpine crops such as potatoes and corn, and the Indian community retains its traditional handicrafts and festive customs. In recent years, it has become a "hidden paradise" away from the hustle and bustle of the city, attracting travelers who love nature and culture, thanks to eco-tourism programs such as hiking trails, bird-watching and rural experiences.
