Radža is a quiet town in western North Macedonia, nestled in the southern foothills of the Šar Mountains, about 120 kilometers from the capital, Skopje. The town is known for its well-preserved Ottoman-era architecture and traditional Balkan flavor, with the old town's stone paths, wooden houses and quaint mosques speaking of its long history. Surrounded by dense forests and crystal clear mountain springs, it is an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism, especially in summer. The local people still practice handicrafts and traditional folklore, and the annual "Raja Cultural Festival" attracts many visitors to experience the authentic rural life of Northern Macedonia.
Gizo, the capital and largest town of the Western Province of the Solomon Islands, is located about 380 kilometers west of Guadalcanal and is known as the "Gateway to the Solomon Islands". With its pristine rainforests, clear coral reefs and white sandy beaches, the island is a popular destination for diving and eco-tourism, and the famous Stalactite Island and World War II shipwrecks around the area attract adventure enthusiasts from all over the world. Although small, Gizo is a blend of Aboriginal tradition and modern life, with local markets selling fresh fish and handicrafts, and a strong cultural heritage of canoe carving and traditional dancing. As a hub for remote islands, Gizo is an ideal starting point for exploring the hidden beauty of the South Pacific, with its undisturbed natural beauty and friendly people.
