Qufu, located in the southwest of Shandong Province, is the hometown of Confucius and the birthplace of Confucian culture, and is known as the "Sacred City of the East". As a national historical and cultural city, Qufu is named after "the city of Lu with a mound that curves around for seven or eight miles", and carries more than 3,000 years of civilization. Qufu is home to the world cultural heritage "Three Confucius" - the Confucius Temple, the Confucius Mansion and the Confucius Forest. The Confucius Temple enshrines Confucius, the Confucius Mansion is the mansion of the Duke of Diffraction, a descendant of Confucius, and the Confucius Forest is the world's oldest and largest family graveyard, which together constitute an important carrier of Confucian culture. Same, the capital of Timor-Leste's Ainaro District, is located about 50 kilometers south of the capital, Dili, in the mountainous interior and is an important agricultural and transportation hub for the country.
