Qishuyan is located in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China. The area has a long history dating back to the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Periods and was once known for its canal transportation and industrial development. Conveniently located in the Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone, Qishuyan is close to the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, connecting it to major cities such as Shanghai and Nanjing.
As an industrial town, Qishuyan is known for its locomotive manufacturing, machining and textile industries, and has a number of large-scale state-owned enterprises, such as CSR Qishuyan Locomotive Co. In recent years, the area has been actively promoting industrial upgrading and urbanization, blending traditional culture with modern economy. With excellent local living facilities and abundant education and medical resources, it is a livable industrial community.
Qishuyan also retains a number of historical sites and natural landscapes, such as canal scenery and ancient town elements, which attract visitors to explore its unique charm. Overall, it is an important area in Jiangsu Province with both industrial heritage and cultural characteristics.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
