Introduction to Qishan, Taiwan, China

Located in the northern part of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan Province of China, Qishan is a famous historical, cultural and agricultural town. The area is famous for its banana industry, known as the "Kingdom of Bananas", and the bananas produced in the area are of high quality and abundant. Qishan Old Street retains the baroque architectural style of the Japanese colonial period and incorporates traditional elements of southern Fujian, forming a unique cultural landscape.
