Qiongshan, Haikou City, Hainan Province, located in the northern part of Hainan Island, is one of the political, economic and cultural centers of Haikou, known as "Qiongtai Blessed Land". As an important birthplace of Hainan's history and culture, Qiongshan County since the Han Dynasty, after more than 2,000 years of change, was the seat of the ancient Qiongzhou Prefecture, leaving behind the Five Ancestors' Shrine, Hai Rui's Tomb, Qiongtai Academy and many other national cultural heritage units, carrying a profound humanistic heritage. The climate here is pleasant, with tropical scenery and historical relics, and the Meishe River meanders through the city, giving rise to a unique overseas Chinese culture. Nowadays, Qiongshan, as the core area of Haikou's "Jiangdong New District", is accelerating the construction of the International Tourism Consumption Center, which not only guards the millennium cultural lineage, but also refreshes the vitality of the modern city, and is a must-visit place for exploring the history and development of Hainan.
