Qinhuai District, located in the main city of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is the birthplace of Nanjing's history and culture, and is known as the "Ten Mile Qinhuai". The Qinhuai River passes through the district, giving birth to the splendid culture of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and there is a collection of famous monuments such as the Fuzimiao Temple, the Jiangnan Tribute Academy, and the Junyuan Garden, of which the Fuzimiao-Qinhuai River Scenic Belt is a national 5A scenic spot, integrating ancient architecture, folk culture, and culinary experience. The Old Mendong Historical and Cultural Neighborhood preserves the street pattern of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and gathers Jinling specialties such as duck blood vermicelli soup and the eight best snacks of the Qinhuai River. Qinhuai is not only the city card of Nanjing, but also a typical representative of China's Jiangnan style, where the ancient and the modern are blended with a long flavor.
Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
